Scope of application

PRoGIS software is primarily intended for companies that manage or own utility infrastructure. Presently we have solutions for water supply, sewage, gas, street lighting, waste disposal, cemeteries, green spaces, cable ducts and optical network infrastructure.

Apart from spatial recording of utility infrastructure facilities, equipment and piping, PRoGIS software serves as the basis for the construction of a technical information system, that is, the foundation for the introduction of information technology into all technical workplaces in utility companies. It is a very good solution for municipalities, that is, the owners of the infrastructure, for their needs when supervising utility companies, and for computerizing infrastructure-related work processes.

Linking PRoGIS with other information systems (the business and SCADA systems) can integrate all data into a unique, spatially defined unit. This system provides a very full functionality and thus high efficiency.

The information system enables an integrated production of all required output and reports intended for government records.

The system is not closed and it provides a very simple data export for partner companies that do not use PRoGIS or any GIS software (for example, design or surveying firms). It is possible to include in the system all types of raster and vector CAD and GIS data that are not generated within PRoGIS software.

PRoGIS software is sold as a complete software unit, the same for all users, which means that all of the necessary knowledge and conventional operating procedures are integrated into it. When implementing a PRoGIS information system, in addition to the software, the user also receives a "handbook" explaining how particular processes should be executed.
